Hipi was born out of frustration and the belief we can do better for our planet. If we all do a little, we accomplish a lot. Our founder (and mother of 3 little humans) merged her passion for good with her love for running and all things active.

Her years working in NYC marketing showed her what not to do: put sales over sustainability. And there was born the idea of attainable sustainable activewear. Fabric was always her first priority. She tested it all; hemp, bamboo, organic cotton…you name it, she tried it. This led her to the recycled fabric mix we are using today - everything simple, better-for-our-planet and sweat-wicking. Her goal was to find the fit and fabrics she wanted to wear. Done. Now that's hip.
